150mg Fosalon (Fosaprepitant Dimeglumine) is an injection used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy in adults and children over six months old. It is an antiemetic that works by blocking the action of a substance in the brain that causes nausea, and it is typically administered as a 30-minute intravenous (IV) infusion before chemotherapy. The drug is given in combination with other antiemetic medications, such as a corticosteroid and a 5-HT3 antagonist.
